How early is too early? Christmas decorations have been spotted at a Mississauga Costco and it’s only August 5.
Halloween hasn’t even happened yet but the retailer already has their winter items on the shelves.

According to several shoppers, snowsuits have been spotted since June.
@680NEWS it is a bit much, Sept/Oct would be a better choice. They had snow suits out weeks ago! Stop the madness!!

It’s not just Mississauga, and it’s not just Costco. Two Alberta stores (Calgary and Okotoks) are already ready for Christmas, while dollar stores also have Santas on display.

@680News Costco is not the first to put out Christmas items. A dollar store I shop at had a whole aisle of last month.

And opinion is split on whether it’s a good or bad thing, or if Christmas in August is something we should just get used to.
@680NEWS Hallmark stores display their ornaments in July every year. Some people like to plan ahead.
