A woman has died in hospital less than one week after she was hit by a bus in the city’s west end.
The 49-year-old pedestrian was crossing Dundas Street at Poplar Avenue, just west of Kipling Avenue, around 9:20 a.m. on Jan. 28.
At the same time, Toronto police say, a 31-year-old man was driving a private bus north on Poplar. He was attempted to turn left onto Dundas when the bus struck the woman.
She was rushed to hospital. She died Tuesday, five days after the crash.
Police are investigating and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
