Legalizing marijuana appears to be low on Liberals priority list

It looks like you could be in for a wait if you are one of those Canadians looking for the federal government to legalize marijuana.
Using the Access to Information Act, the Ottawa Citizen was able to obtain the briefing book for the justice minister, whose department is responsible for legalization.
It lays out immediate priorities for Jody Wilson-Raybould, and out of the 415-page document, the topic of marijuana was right at the back on page 410.
This doesn’t mean the issue of legalization is up in smoke.
The Liberals did make a point of putting it in their Throne Speech, and the government has already created a task force to study the issue. That task force is being led by Liberal MP and former Toronto police chief Bill Blair.
