Trending: Did Drake just announce the release date for ‘Views from the 6’?

It’s no secret that Drake’s new album is coming soon, but has he just teased the official release date in a series of new posters showing up around the city?

The Toronto-born rap superstar announced last month than ‘Views from the 6’ would be coming in April – making the release 4/16, but a poster that popped up overnight at Billy Bishop Airport has some speculating on an exact date.

‘FOUR PLUS TWO EQUALS 6″ may just be the former Degrassi star showing off his math skills, but others think it’s his way of announcing the album will drop April 2, 2016. Previous rumours guessed the release date at April 16, making it yet another Toronto area code reference.

Another set of posters at Billy Bishop contain a black and white image of the construction of the CN Tower with the number 6 under it.

As well, a large poster showed up Tuesday night at Yonge-Dundas Square with the word VIEWS printed in black on a completely white background. The print also contains a series of creepy-looking eyes and splits into four pieces to show off the spine of the metal billboard.

There’s very little coincidence the posters have showed up just days before the the NBA All-Star Game comes to Toronto. The Raptors ambassador will be a coach for the All-Star Celebrity Game.

Drake released the first single from his upcoming fourth album at the end of January called ‘Summer Sixteen.’ The song entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 6, making it the highest debut single of his career so far.
