On this week’s show…

Justin Trudeau goes to Washington. The Prime Minister makes a state visit to the White House with a lot of fanfare, celebrity buzz and some interesting announcements.

We start off our show with Celina Caesar-Chavannes, the Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister, who will discuss working with the white house and her personal encounter with President Barack Obama.

Afterwards we speak Maclean’s Political Editor Paul Wells, who is in Washington. He’ll give us his analysis of Trudeau’s trip.

We also take a look back at the history of Canada-US relations, and how the Prime Ministers and Presidents got along.

Finally, we hear from BC Premier Christy Clark, who hits a milestone in her political career, and we speak with the Minister for the status of women about putting a woman on the face of our currency.
