It looks like Bombardier will once again miss its delivery date for another batch of new streetcars for Toronto.

In his monthly report to the Toronto Transit Commission board, CEO Andy Byford says he is unable to confirm a delivery schedule but it is evident Bombardier will not hit the four vehicles per month target that it promised as recently as last month.

Byford says Bombardier has appointed a new CEO and he’s spoken with him to outline the TTC’s complete frustration and dissatisfaction with the company’s current performance.

Of the 204 new streetcars ordered, only 17 are actually rolling.
