Two Toronto men accused of forcing teen girl into prostitution

Two 19-year-old Toronto men are facing a total of 20 charges after allegedly forcing a teen girl into prostitution.

Police say the 16-year-old girl met the two suspects through a mutual friend.

investigators say the men allegedly forced the girl to work over a three-day period in motels located in the Kingston Road area. She was forced to turn over the money she earned to them.

They allegedly took nude photos of her and posted them online advertising her services.

According to police, she was also threatened with knives and a pellet gun, which she believed to be real, when she told the suspects she did not want to work in the sex trade.

Investigators also say she was confined to a hotel room and not given adequate nourishment. The two men also took her clothing and shoes, police allege.

The girl managed to escape and call police.

Joshua Presley and Austin Williamson were arrested on Saturday and charged with numerous offences including trafficking in persons under 18 years, forcible confinement, and print, publish, make and possess child pornography. Williamson also faces charges of sexual assault and assault with a weapon. They appeared in court on Sunday.

Police are concerned there may be other victims.
