Toronto police investigate three separate overnight shootings

Toronto police are investigating three separate overnight shootings that sent two people to hospital. However, in two of the shootings, no one was hurt.

The first happened at King and Dufferin streets around 12:50 a.m. on Friday.

Two men were shot in what may have been a robbery. Both men were shot in the upper torso and rushed to hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening.

Police are searching for three suspects.

About a half an hour later, gunshots were heard on Vaughan Road near Glenora Avenue, east of Oakwood Avenue.

When police arrived to the second shooting, around 1:20 a.m., they found one car with bullet holes. There was also a bullet hole in a wall. No injuries have been reported and no arrests have been made.

The third shooting happened around 1:50 a.m. on Old Meadow Lane, near Lawrence Avenue West and Allen Road.

Police found at least three shell casings.

No victims have been found and no property was damaged. No arrests have been made.
