Man, 58, identified as rooming house stabbing victim

A man, believed to be in his 50s, is dead after a stabbing near Bloor Street and Church Street on Friday night.
Officers received a call for a stabbing just after 9 p.m. on Charles Street near Church Street.
Paramedics said the male had stab wounds near his neck and was suffering life-threatening injuries but was pronounced dead.
The victim was identified by police as Stephen Russell, 58, of Toronto.
There is no details on suspects at this time.
