Police are searching for a Brampton man wanted in connection with a murder last weekend.
An arrest warrant has been issued for 34-year-old Pardeep Chouhan, who police say is wanted for second-degree murder.
The body of 31-year-old Maninder Singh Sandhu was found in the truck parking lot at BTI Cartage early Saturday morning. Police say he had been shot multiple times.
Chouhan, who is also employed by the trucking company, is described as light brown in complexion, six feet tall and 180 pounds, with straight, black hair and a scar beside his right eye.
Police believe Chouhan to be armed and dangerous and are advising the public not to approach him.
On Tuesday, Peel Regional Police made a separate appeal for Chouhan, whom they say went missing last Friday afternoon. He disappeared almost 10 hours before Sandhu’s body was found in the truck yard.
Toronto Police say they were aware that the man wanted in the homicide is the same man reported missing to Peel Police. Homicide investigators are working closely with Peel investigators to try and locate the man.
