OTTAWA – Canada’s national unemployment rate was 6.8 per cent in November. Here are the jobless rates last month by province (previous month in brackets):
— Newfoundland and Labrador 14.3 per cent (14.9)
— Prince Edward Island 10.8 (11.7)
— Nova Scotia 8.0 (7.6)
— New Brunswick 8.7 (10.0)
— Quebec 6.2 (6.8)
— Ontario 6.3 (6.4)
— Manitoba 6.2 (6.4)
— Saskatchewan 6.8 (6.9)
— Alberta 9.0 (8.5)
— British Columbia 6.1 (6.2)
