Toronto police are searching for information on two suspects wanted in the shooting death of a Hamilton man last month.
Leonard Pinnock, 33, was sitting in his car waiting for a friend in a plaza parking lot near Dufferin Street and Bowie Avenue, north of Eglinton Avenue West, on April 21 when two men, dressed in hoodies, approached his car and opened fire.
Investigators believe this was a random attack, adding there is nothing to suggest in Pinnock’s background that would provide a motive for the shooting.
Police say the suspects are considered armed and dangerous.
“The people that I’m trying to reach are the inner circle of these two offenders – their immediate friends and family,” said Det. Sgt. Joyce Schertzer. “They know who these two individuals are and I’m asking them to call police.”
They are also asking anyone with security or dash-cam video of the incident or the suspects to call 416-808-7400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
