1 arrested, 2 suspects sought in jewelry store robbery

One person is facing charges and police are searching for two other suspects after a North York jewelry store was robbed.

On Jan. 28, around 2 p.m. police were called to The Shops at Don Mills for reports of a robbery.

It was reported that two men and woman entered a jewelry store and asked to see a number of items located in different parts of the store. They then allegedly stole various items while store staff were distracted.

Police allege they stole $89,000 worth of jewelry.

Stela Rostas, 25, of Markham, was arrested and charged with theft over $5,000.

The two other suspects have been identified as Teusan-Nistor Soloman, 40, and Tarase Haret, 41.
