Halton police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing man in Burlington.
Officials said Jeff Beacon, 58, was last seen at his home in the Itabashi Way and Upper Middle Road area around 7 a.m.
It’s believed he was headed to the gym.
Beacon has dementia and police said the bus routes changed this morning so they fear he may be lost — as this behaviour is very out of character for him.
He is described as a white male with grey hair and a medium build. He was last seen wearing a navy shirt, light blue jeans, black eye glasses, white running shoes and carrying a red sports bag.
Police believe Beacon is on foot.
Anyone who has information pertaining to this investigation is asked to contact the Halton Regional Police Service communication bureau at 905-825-4747 ext. 5170.
