Toronto police are searching for a man in connection with a stabbing that occurred in Scarborough on Sept. 13.
Police say it happened at around 1 p.m. on Victoria Park Avenue just north of Eglinton Avenue East.
A man was approached by a younger man whom he knew from a previous minor dispute. The younger man allegedly swung at and slashed the man with a sharp object hidden in his hand and then fled the scene.
Police say the suspect speaks with a Hispanic accent. He is described as five-foot-six to five-foot-seven, in his early 20s, with a muscular build and black curly hair. He has blue-green eyes with a visible defect in one eye. He was last seen wearing baggy jeans and a sleeveless black T-shirt with a stick figure or skeleton design.
The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect and are asking anyone with information to contact them.
