1 dead, 2 injured in Etobicoke shooting

A teenager is dead after a triple shooting at Kingsview Village Junior School in north Etobicoke.
Police were called to the parking lot in the Islington Avenue and Dixon Road area just before midnight on Sunday.
Officials found the teen suffering from gunshot wounds. He was rushed to hospital where he later died.
Paramedics said two other males were taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said a suspect was seen fleeing the area, running north on York Street before getting into a light-coloured vehicle.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, around five-foot-seven with a slim build. He was wearing all black clothing.
Homicide Det. Stephen Matthews said the three victims were not known to police and the shooting is not believed to be connected with the school.
Police are asking any witnesses, or anyone with security video of the incident, to contact investigators.
