The transformation of Toronto’s downtown waterfront is about to take a big step forward.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Premier Kathleen Wynne and Mayor John Tory will help unveil a new high-tech community in the Queen’s Quay and Lower Jarvis area on Tuesday.

They will also reveal the community’s high-profile investor.

It’s all a part of the creation of a new waterfront community called “Quayside.”

Quayside would include new residential and commercial developments, infrastructure for new tech businesses and vibrant public spaces.

The presentation is expected to begin at 2:30 p.m. The event will be live streamed on the Waterfront Toronto Facebook page.
