Woman dies after being hit by truck in Mississauga

A woman is dead after being hit by a transport truck in Mississauga on Friday afternoon.
Peel Regional Police responded to a call around 12:30 p.m. at Meyerside and Ordan drives, near Courtneypark Drive East and Dixie Road.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The transport truck driver remained at the scene and police are investigating.
Meyerside Drive is closed in both directions between Tomken and Dixie roads.
