2 charged after suspected drug lab dismantled in Mississauga

Two Brampton men have been charged in connection with a drug lab investigation in Peel Region.
Peel police raided several properties, including a unit in a strip mall near Dundas Street East and Cawthra Road in Mississauga, on Thursday night.
Residents in the area say they thought the unmarked commercial unit was an auto body shop.
Officers wearing hazmat suits could be seen carrying out evidence bags throughout the night.
They said they seized a large amount of pills, believed to be Xanax, powdered substances and items used to make pills.
Jermelle Bahadosingh, 31, and Quincey Ighalo-Osayande. 28, face charges of production of a controlled substance and possession for the purpose.
They appeared in court on Friday.
Police say there is no further threat to public safety.
