Man in critical condition after stabbing in Brampton

One man is in hospital after a stabbing in Brampton near Dixie Road and Sandalwood Drive on Sunday night.

Peel regional police responded to a call in a residential area on Father Tobin Road and Moira Creek Drive around 8:30 p.m.

A 35-year-old male victim was found suffering from multiple stab wounds outside a home. He was taken to hospital in critical condition. It is unclear if the home is connected to the incident at this time.

Police say two suspects were seen fleeing the scene. They are described as black males and they reportedly drove away in a dark vehicle.

Officers are canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses and details surrounding the incident.
