Woman seriously wounded in Mississauga stabbing

A woman is in hospital following a stabbing in Mississauga on Saturday night.
Police were called to the area of Central Parkway East and Mississauga Valley Boulevard just before 7 p.m.
Paramedics say the woman was taken to a trauma centre with serious to potentially life-threatening wounds.
Peel police say a woman is in custody and there is no further threat to public safety.
