Man charged with second-degree murder in missing woman case

A man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the disappearance of a Mississauga woman.
40-year-old Yunying Pan was last heard from on Dec. 5, 2017.
Peel police arrested 50-year-old Shaofeng Han in connection with her disappearance and charged him with second-degree murder. He is scheduled to appear in a Bramptoncourt on Saturday.
Police didn’t say whether the two knew each other, nor did they say why they believed a murder charge was warranted.
