Group of teens behind street robberies near Yonge and Eglinton

Toronto police are warning the public about a string of street robberies that have taken place in the Yonge and Eglinton area.
There have been 11 robberies since Jan. 7.
Police say most of them involve a group of teenagers swarming their victims and demanding cellphones, clothes, and money.
In several of the robberies, an edged weapon was used to threaten the victim.
Police are reminding citizens to stay vigilant and are asking any witnesses to come forward.
