A 39-year-old male motorcyclist has died after a head-on collision with a car, Toronto police confirm.
It happened just before 6 p.m. at Mount Pleasant and Carstowe roads.
Police say both vehicles were northbound on Mount Pleasant when the motorcyclist moved into the southbound lanes and was crossing underneath a bridge when it collided with an SUV, which was making a u-turn into the southbound lane.
Citizens performed CPR, but the motorcyclist was later pronounced dead in hospital. The driver of the SUV was not injured.
