Police searching for gunmen after shooting in Regent Park

Toronto police are on the hunt for gunmen after a shooting in the Regent Park area in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Police responded to a call reporting six shots fired near Dundas and Sackville streets around 12:30 a.m.

A man in his 50s was found between two buildings with gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries and is now in stable condition.

Two unknown males wearing hoodies fled the scene. Police say the victim is not cooperating.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
