A man is facing multiple charges after a fatal crash involving several vehicles, including a Lamborghini, in April.

Police were called to the scene on Stouffville Road between Bayview Avenue and Leslie Street in Richmond Hill around 6 p.m. on April 1.

The woman, the passenger of a blue Lamborghini, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver, a 39-year-old man from King City, was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

The driver and passenger in a silver Toyota, a 44-year-old man and a 36-year-old woman — both from Toronto — were taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The drivers of the other three cars suffered minor injuries.

On Tuesday, George Dabit, the driver of the blue Lamborghini, was arrested and charged with several offences including manslaughter, criminal negligence causing bodily harm and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle causing death.

He is expected to appear in a Newmarket court on July 24.
