Woman stabbed in random attack in Weston area

Toronto police say a woman suffered minor injuries after being stabbed in what appears to be a random attack in the area of Weston Road and King Street.

Officers were called to the area just before 11 p.m. on Friday.

Two woman were walking down the street when they were approached by a stranger.

The man then allegedly stabbed one of the women.

She was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Police say the suspect has been located and is in custody.
