Suspicious death in Parkdale is Toronto’s 75th homicide of 2018

The homicide unit is investigating after a suspicious death in Parkdale on Saturday night.

Police responded to a call at a residence on West Lodge Avenue, between Queen and Dundas Streets around 11:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers found a man lying in the front driveway with “apparent injuries.” He was pronounced dead on scene.

Investigators believe the man fell to the ground from a balcony after an altercation.

An official cause of death has not been released, pending a post-mortem on Monday.

Police say the death is Toronto’s 75th homicide of 2018.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have any information to contact them.
