A 57-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death of a man who was found lifeless in a Riverside alley last week.
Officers responded to a call for an emergency on Oct. 5, just after 7 a.m. in the area of Queen and Saulter Streets.
Upon arrival they located a man suffering from signs of trauma in an alley on June Callwood Way.
Police said the man was found with a swollen face and was pronounced dead at the scene.
He was identified as Clark Sissons, 67, of Toronto and his death was deemed a homicide.
On Wednesday, police said Allan Alexander MacDonald has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and appeared in court the same day.
This is the city’s 84th homicide of the year.
