Man, 70, killed after rear-ending bus in Mississauga

A 70-year-old man has died and a woman is in hospital after an SUV rear-ended a Mississauga transit bus.
Peel police say the bus was stopped at Tomken Road and Bloor Street around 12:15 Friday morning when a red Toyota Rav4 crashed into the bus.
The male driver, 70-year-old Ricardo Reyes of Mississauga, was pronounced dead on the scene while a 61-year-old female passenger, Juliet Baptista of Mississauga, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Five passengers were on the bus at the time of the crash. Two adults were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Investigators are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the collision or have video footage of the crash to contact them.
