Man in 60s struck by vehicle on Dundas East

A man in his late 60s was struck by a vehicle in the downtown core on Saturday evening.

Police responded to a call for a collision in the Dundas Street East and Sherbourne Street area around 7:40 p.m.

The pedestrian suffered a head injury and was taken to hospital in non-life threatening condition.

The driver remained on scene but no charges have been laid at this time. The investigation is ongoing.

Roads in the area were closed for the investigation but have since reopened.
