Crash at Davenport and Avenue causes gas leak

A collision between two vehicles caused a very serious gas leak at the intersection of Davenport and Avenue Roads.
Police say they responded to the crash just after 4 p.m.
One of the vehicles struck a gas line while the other crashed into a building.
Avenue was closed from Davenport to Bloor Street with no pedestrian or vehicle traffic allowed for several hours but it has re-opened.
Police say Enbridge Gas has capped the leak.
