Toronto police probe daylight shooting that sends man to hospital

Toronto police are searching for two suspects after a shooting near Bathurst Street and St. Clair Avenue West on Tuesday morning.

It happened around 10 a.m. at Bathurst and Vaughan Road.

Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots heard. Two men were seen running from the scene.

A man was found suffering from gunshot wounds. Police say he was seriously injured but is expected to survive.

It’s been a violent morning in Toronto, with another man shot and killed near Jane Street and Finch Avenue West at around 6:15 a.m.
