Third suspect wanted in daytime shooting in the Beaches

By News Staff

Toronto police are looking for a third suspect after two men were shot in a brazen daylight shooting in the Beaches last weekend.

Two men, Rodrigues Sendia, 20, and Ajmain Rahman, 21, both of Toronto, are already facing five charges related to the incident.

Police say the shooting took place at around 2:30 p.m. at Kingston Road and Woodbine Avenue when two men were shot while sitting in a car.

They drove a couple of blocks from the scene to Queen Street East, at which point they were found and taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The first two suspects were arrested shortly after fleeing the scene on foot.

Officers are now looking for John Okoro, 23, of Toronto for nine charges including attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Investigators believe people are assisting him to evade arrest. He is considered violent, armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
