Man pinned by vehicle in Mississauga plaza parking lot

A man in his 70s is in hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle at a Mississauga plaza.

Peel police were called to a parking lot at Dundas Street West and Elmcreek Road, near Mavis, just before 2 p.m. Saturday.

The man was struck and pinned against a wall. Paramedics took him to a trauma centre with life-threatening injuries.

The driver remained on the scene.
