A 14-year-old boy is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle at Leslie Street and Finch Avenue on Monday.
Police were called to the intersection at 3:45 p.m. to reports a male pedestrian was lying in the roadway.
It was reported that the teen was crossing Leslie from the east side to west side when he was struck by a Jeep heading northbound.
The boy suffered a life-threatening leg injury.
There has been no word on if the 52-year-old driver will face charges.
Police are hoping anyone with dashcam or security footage will come forward to help in the investigation.
The intersection was closed for the investigation but has since been reopened.
