A 42-year-old woman is facing several charges including attempted murder after a man was stabbed Sunday morning.

Police were called to the area of Victoria Park and Parma Court, near Eglinton Avenue, just after 9 a.m.

Police allege a man and a woman were arguing when the woman pulled out a knife and stabbed the man multiple times.

The man, believed to be in his 40’s, was able to escape and get help. He was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening-injuries. The woman attempted to escape by jumping off a seventh floor balcony.
