Man critically injured in Mississauga shooting

A man has life-threatening injuries after he was found in an industrial area of Mississauga, suffering from gunshot wounds.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Hurontario Street and Matheson Boulevard East around 7 a.m. on Thursday.
“It sounds like it was just a random passerby [who] located this male … suffering from gunshot wounds and contacted police,” Const. Sarah Patten said.
Patten said the man had been shot multiple times. The victim’s age is not yet known, but police said he is an older man.
So far, there is no word on suspects.
No further details have been released.
