Man dies after falling from Dundas Peak in Hamilton: police

By The Canadian Press

Police say a man fell to his death after slipping off the edge of Dundas Peak in Hamilton on Friday night.

The 24-year-old victim was sitting with a friend shortly before 11 p.m. when Hamilton police say he lost his balance while standing up and fell off the edge.

His body was removed from the bottom of the cliff on Saturday morning with the help of emergency responders.

Police say they don’t consider the death to be suspicious.

They urged the public to “always remain on marked trails, stay behind any safety barriers and refrain from going out on trails when visibility is reduced.”
