Man arrested after stabbing on TTC bus at Lawrence East station

A 26-year-man old has been arrested after a stabbing at Lawrence East station.

Toronto police were called to the area just after 6 p.m. on Sunday after reports of a fight on a TTC bus.

A man in his 30s suffered serious injuries and was transported to a trauma centre. A second female victim was also stabbed, but her injuries were minor.

The suspect is facing several charges, including aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. Police said he was also out on probation.
