One man is in hospital after shots were fired at a car in the city’s downtown core early Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue around 3 a.m.
Police said the car was stopped at the intersection when multiple gunshots rang out. Investigators believe two other vehicles were involved.
The victim was dropped off at a local hospital and rushed to a trauma centre.
The victim’s injuries are serious but not life-threatening.
No details have been released on the shooter.
Queen Street was closed west of Spadina while police investigated and transit was diverting around the area. The area reopened around 6 a.m.
