A 10-year-old boy from Etobicoke who had previously been missing has been found safe, Toronto police say.

He was missing since Wednesday afternoon and was located Thursday morning. Police say he was found in the area and is being assessed by paramedics before being returned to his parents.

He had been last seen in the area of Lynmont Road and Humber College Boulevard at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Police said the boy was involved in a minor incident at school but stress that he is not in trouble and just want him to come home.

His parents spoke to reporters just before 9 a.m. and said their son has the “sweetest smile you will ever see.”

“Come home, we love,” his mother said. “We want to see your face.”

“We’re not upset, just please come home,” the boy’s father pleaded.
