Passerby alerts police to man injured in Etobicoke stabbing

A man is in hospital after a stabbing in Etobicoke on Wednesday evening.

Police say a passerby in the Kipling Avenue and Dixon Road area called them around 7:20 p.m., after noticing a man was bleeding seriously.

Officers responded to the location and found the victim with serious injuries.

Paramedics were able to stabilize the victim and he was taken to hospital in non-life threatening condition.

Police say they are looking for a suspect described as a white male with a big, bushy beard. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and walking north on Kipling.
