Peel police have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with multiple break-ins.

During the early morning hours between July 13 and July 18, 27 homes were allegedly broken into in Mississauga.

Police say it appears the suspect got into the home, or tried to get into the home, through the back gate, rear or side property access points. He would then proceeded to look for unlocked windows or doors.

On Monday, police released new video of the suspect and a still image from that video.

Shortly after, a man was identified as the suspect and arrested. He will appear in court on Wednesday.

Police have not released details of the charges he is facing.
