Man stabbed on Queen East during Beaches jazz StreetFest

Toronto police are searching for a suspect after a man was stabbed during the Beaches jazz festival’s StreetFest on Thursday night.

Police were called to Queen Street East at Hammersmith Avenue just before 11 p.m.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 20s. He was wearing a black shirt, tight jeans and black shoes.

The street festival is taking place along Queen between Woodbine and Beech avenues.
