Pedestrian seriously injured in North York collision

A male pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle in North York on Sunday.
Police responded to a call for a collision in the Islington Avenue and Millwick Drive area around noon.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.
The vehicle and driver involved in the crash remained on scene after the crash.
A reconstruction team from Traffic Services was on scene for the investigation. The intersection reopened just before 4 p.m.
