GO service on the Kitchener line has resumed after a fatality stalled service early Monday evening.
GO Transit tweeted at just after 7 p.m. that there had been a fatality between the Mount Pleasant and Georgetown GO stations.
Busses were put in service to help move commuters from Mount Pleasant to all the remaining train stations.
It has since resumed service.
Fatality Investigation is almost complete, and the Union 17:27 – Kitchener 19:39 train will move shortly. Thank you for your patience during what has been a sad and difficult timeframe as our Kitchener service comes to a close this evening.
