Police say between 10 to 30 shots were fired outside a Liberty Village club in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police received multiple calls for the sound of gunshots in the area of Forty2 Supperclub at Liberty Street and Mowat Avenue around 3:30 a.m.
Initial reports said multiple people were injured. However paramedics only took one male to hospital with injuries related to a fight – not gunshot wounds.
Police confirm multiple shell casings were found in the area and vehicles nearby had bullet holes.
The club was reportedly very busy at the time of the shooting.
No arrests have been made and no suspect descriptions are available at this time.
Police continue to investigate.
