Police appeal for dashcam footage of fatal motorcycle crash

Toronto police are looking for dashcam or security camera footage of a fatal motorcycle crash on Monday.

Police said that around 4:45 p.m. a Mazda was heading eastbound on Steeles Avenue East and attempted to turn left onto Fairway Heights Drive when it collided with a motorcycle.

The motorcycle had been going westbound on Steeles and heading through the intersection at the time.

The 29-year-old motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and suffered life-threatening injuries.

He was rushed to hospital where he later died.

The 44-year-old driver of the Mazda remained at the scene.
