Halton Regional Police are asking the public for help after an assault and apparent abduction in Burlington on Thursday afternoon.

Police say it appeared as if an unidentified male was assaulted and then possibly abducted by three suspects in the Queensway Drive and Cleta Street area around 1:45 p.m.

The male was walking south on Queensway Drive when two vehicles — a silver Dodge Caravan and an older model two-door black Honda Civic — pulled up and stopped next to him.

One person from the passenger side of the Dodge Caravan and both the driver and the passenger from the Honda stepped out of the vehicles. They then chased the alleged victim onto a residential property on Cleta Drive.

Investigators say it appeared like the male was assaulted by the suspects before being put into the Dodge Caravan and taken from the area against his will.

The van was last seen heading southbound on Cleta Drive.

The alleged victim is described as a white male, believed to be in his 30s. He was last seen wearing dark coloured shorts and a black and green t-shirt.

Police are looking for four suspects:

  • The passenger of the Dodge Caravan is described as a while male with a slim build. He was wearing camo shorts and no shirt.
  • There is no description available for the driver of the Dodge Caravan as they did not exit the van.
  • The driver of the Honda Civic is described as a white male wearing a tan baseball cap, black pants with white stripes down leg, white shoes and a white t-shirt.
  • The passenger of the Honda Civic is described as a white male wearing black track pants a black hoodie with the hood up and white high top shoes.

Police are concerned for the safety of the alleged victim and anyone with information or video from the area on Thursday afternoon is asked to contact them.
